Hallie Whitley, IBCLC
Breastfeeding

Hallie Whitley has worked for the Miami County WIC program for 19 years as a nutritionist and breastfeeding coordinator. She became a board certified lactation consultant in October 2012. She and her husband have two daughters, each of whom were breastfed for 13 months.
Jeri Layer, A.T.S., CD, CCBE
Childbirth Education

Jeri Layer is a certified childbirth educator and doula. She has been involved in birth work for over 15 years teaching in both the private and hospital environment. For most of those years she has focused on the teen pregnant and parenting population designing, implementing and teaching a program specific to the needs of this unique population. Jeri has a passion for birth research and enjoys sharing research and evidence based practices for safe and enjoyable birth experiences for all populations. Jeri also teaches introductory health care courses at Sinclair Community College in the Life and Health Sciences Division. She has been an adjunct faculty member there for nine (9) years.
Jeri is a mother of two (2) grown children and grandmother of two (2) children, ages 8 and 10. She and her husband, Jim, reside in Tipp City and have enjoyed being married for 25 years.
